SCHEDULE CHANGE

We will have KFC on Oct. 31; however, children will eat supper at 5pm and will be picked up by 5:30pm. Family Night Supper, GA’s, RA’s, Mission Friends and Youth are cancelled. We will have Adult Bible Study at 6:30pm and Adult Choir at 7:15pm.

GIFT OF SIGHT DRIVE
Please drop any unused glasses you may have in the marked boxes located in the Sunday school connector. These glasses will be shipped overseas to people who cannot afford glasses. Deadline is Oct. 31.

WORLD HUNGER MONTH
This coming Sunday is the last Sunday in October that we emphasize World Hunger. Please bring razors, shampoo and disposable diapers (sizes 4 and 5) for NBSM.

The annual Church Directories are in your Sunday school classrooms or in the vestibule. If you cannot locate your copy, please call the church office.

FALL FESTIVAL
We will enjoy our annual Fall Festival this Sunday, October 28, 5-8pm. There will be games, hot dog supper, a cake walk and treat bags. Please donate cakes, cookies, brownies or fudge for the cake walk and candy for the treat bags. You may place your candy in boxes throughout the church marked for “Fall Festival.” Candy needs to be at the church by this Friday, October 26, and cakes need to be at the church by Sunday. Invite a friend and bring your family for a fun filled evening!

POINSETTIAS

We will beautify our Sanctuary with poinsettias during the Advent Season. If you would like to place a poinsettia in memory or honor of someone, please use the envelopes located in each pew or call the church office for more information. Be sure and list the name/names of each person whom you wish to honor or remember. The cost is $8 per poinsettia.

  • Cost is $10 per person (pay at the door).
  • Reservations: 680-9417 by Nov. 3.
  • All proceeds go to New Direction Farm to
    help supply their needs:
    • A Generator (cost $5,000)
    • Groceries ($2,000 per month)
    • Electric Bill ($400 to $500 per month)
    • Help sponsor a student ($1,500 per month)
  • Someone has taken care of fuel for the
    winter and replaced a furnace for the boys’
    home. Praise the Lord!
