Worship
Worship is at the center of all we do as a church family. Worship is not a spectator sport! William Temple defines worship this way: To worship is to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God, the feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to open the heart to the love of God, to devote the will to the purpose of God.
In the current vocabulary, our worship is “traditional” (in the Charleston tradition, for those of you who know your Baptist history). We seek a worship service that is both reverent and open to God’s Spirit.
